Chimera, means "the creation of imagination", and is a quarterly electronic journal published by the USA/Africa Institute. Chimera is a platform for individuals who seek to stimulate thought and nurture discussion on the Institute's core areas:
- Culture
- Economics/Economic Development
- Education
- Governance/Diplomacy
- Health
- Technology
We invite authors to contribute thought provoking discussion on various issues dealing with United States and African initiatives. The articles are reviewed by our editorial staff and in some instances persons are selected by the publisher for external review. The Journal is distributed electronically to institutions of higher learning, policy makers, business leaders and key governmental decision makers on both continents. The Journal is also provided to individuals and entities that impact global affairs and important constituencies.
For easier reference, Chimera has been reviewed and is listed on several academic indices. The ISSN numbers for the journal are 1546-1122 (Electronic) and 1546-1130 (Print). The printed version is available in limited quantities.
